In YouTube

Go to the video on YouTube, and click on the “Share” button.  Then copy the URL from the popup.

In Your New Blog Post

On your blog post, add a Video module, or open the existing Video module.

Hover your mouse over the existing video until you see its settings bar, and click on the Settings (gear) icon.

In the popup window that appears, hover over the image and again click on the Settings (gear) icon.

In the next popup window that appears, click on the link called “Insert from URL”:

Paste the URL you copied from YouTube into the field that begins with https://

Click on the blue button in the bottom right of the popup window that says “Insert into post”.

Now, click on the green button to save the module:

Finally, click on the green button that says “Publish” to save the page.

If you don’t see the green “Publish” button and the purple sphere at the bottom of the page contains 3 dots, just click on the purple sphere to expand the options. From there, you can save the page.

At this point, you can click on “Exit Visual Builder” in the top Admin bar, or click on “Pupquest” to return to the WordPress admin dashboard.

Follow the same process for copying over videos from the previous PupQuest blog.

The code on the text tab should look like this:

When viewed from the “Visual” tab, you should see an image of the video:
